Eddie Bowers brings over 20 years of resort and real estate marketing experience to Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate. Most recently, he was the Broker/Owner of Alpine Associates Real Estate for three years. Prior to starting Alpine Associates Real Estate, he was a Broker Associate with East West Real Estate for four years. He is also a former Public Relations Director for Park City Ski Area in Utah and Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado. In addition, Eddie was the Marketing Manager for Cordillera's residential real estate projects in the Vail Valley.

Eddie is married and has been living in Summit County, Colorado for 20 years. Eddie, his wife, Patti, and two children, Matt, age 19, and Kealy, age 17 enjoy the Colorado mountain lifestyle.

Eddie also finds time to give something back to the Summit County Community. He is involved with the Summit Nordic Ski Club, has an Adopt-A-Trail section of the paved bike path in the Town of Frisco, volunteers for the Summit County Multiple Sclerosis Walk and enjoys coaching youth sports.

During 2008, Eddie Bowers is donating 5% of his net commission from each real estate transaction to “Mountain to Mountain." Mountain to Mountain creates ties between mountain communities through education, and empowers individuals to become catalysts for community development at home and abroad. During the inaugural year, Mountain to Mountain raised over $100,000 for Central Asia Institute. This amount represents two schools to be built and endowed in Central Asia to educate girls in remote mountain villages. Mountain to Mountain is currently supporting the village of Gudel, a remote village in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal almost completely overlooked by government and aid organizations. Mountain to Mountain and the dZi Foundation will raise money and awareness to help the village of Gudel accomplish sustainable community development through educational initiatives focused on literacy, healthcare and income generation.
